How to Delete Your MatriarchMatch Account
If you wish to delete your MatriarchMatch account and all associated data, you can do so at any time. This process permanently removes your profile, photos, messages, and other personal information from our servers.
Data That Will Be Deleted
The following data will be permanently removed:
- Your user profile (name, age, gender, bio, preferences)
- Profile photos and uploaded media
- Messages and chat history with other users
- Account settings and preferences
Data That May Be Retained
Some information may be retained for legal, regulatory, or safety purposes**, **such as:
- Transaction history (subscriptions or payments)
- Records required for dispute resolution or fraud prevention
- Messages and chat content can be retained for up to 90 days to investigate reports of abuse, harassment, or other safety concerns.
- Aggregated or anonymized data for analytics
Temporarily Disable Your Profile
If you wish to keep your account but hide your profile, you can temporarily disable your profile.
- Navigate to Settings → Account → Disable Profile.
- Your profile will be hidden and not visible to other users until your next login or reactivation.
- This option allows you to pause your visibility without deleting your account or losing your data.
Steps to Request Deletion
- Open the MatriarchMatch app and log in to your account.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Select Delete Account.
- Fill out the deletion request form with the required information.
- Submit the form to request account deletion.
Your request will be processed within 30 days, and you will be notified once your account and associated data have been deleted.
